PostedApril 12, 2005. I just got a 2005 KTM 525 EXC, I have only 1.8 Hrs on it and performed my first KTM oil change. The manual and the dealer say to put in 1.2 Quarts of oil. I took the oil filters out and changed them. The manual said to fill the oil filter housing and filter half way, I did that and put the covers on.
