Pressing the button a third time will result in the lowest setting. Pressing the button a fourth time will turn off the heated seats. There are three lights next to the heated seat buttons to indicate what setting the heated seats are on. The heated seats will only work when the engine is running. It seems most Citroen base current model C4's C4 Grand Picasso since 2004 etc all have resistor blocks to control fan speed. In some instances there is no fan (The whole resitor block is burnt out i.e all resistors have drawn too much current and gone open circuit) or some fans work on Position 4 the highest due to no resistor directly on that position.
