For the repair: 1. Flat Screwdriver - to remove to battery compartment and the FIAT logo. 2. Philips screwdriver - to disassemble the key. 3. Small screw - to repair the click on the key. 4. Super Glue - to add resistance to the inserted screw. Hi All, I have a Stilo 1.9 JTD Multiwagon Dynamic 54 plate and yesterday the key fob and the horn stopped working, I have replaced the battery in the Forums New posts Featured threads Search forums Members list Members Map
My main stilo remote key fob has just started to play up, it unlocks the car, locks again but will not deadlock, then stops locking at all, the red light on the fob then flashes for a while, it still starts the car OK, but I have to use the key to unlock the car. I do have a spare which still
Hi guys I guess I am experiencing the same fault central locking was working all of a sudden it no longer unlocks the car (1.9 jtd sporting). Light on key fob flashes- anything else to try before taking it to a garage There doesnt seem to be a fuse which relates to the central locking only the boot Thanks David
At the same time (i.e. whilst the count down is taking place) the previous self-learning status is signalled on the passenger temperature setting: '1' flashes if the previous self-learning procedure failed '0' indicates that the previous self-learning procedure was successful This procedure is not carried out if at least one of the above When you lock the car, the indicators flash just once, when you unlock the car they flash twice. When you use the deadlock (you have to press the lock button twice on the remote) it flashes once for the lock sequence and twice for the deadlock activation. I don't have an alarm installed so it's just standard equipment !
#1 Hi everyone, I unlocked my car this morning no problem, but half an hour later and I can't lock/unlock the car with the remote. The LED just flashes once quickly when I press the button. I replaced the battery with a brand new one but still the same thing, the LED just flashes once quickly when I press a button. Anybody know what I can do?
Depending on the mileage on the secondhand dash you got , as if you used a registerd version of the multiscan software and connecting cables it allows you to increase the mileage but not decrease, there may be other people out there that have the equipment that allows changing the mileage up or down, would think fiat would only be authorised to use new parts from them and why they stated that
Had the car 2 years ad only used the spare for about 2 weeks after I dropped my remote fob and it stopped working properly. Only reason I sued the spare was because it was shinier (car didn't have one when I looked at it, but told them I wouldn't buy it unless they supplied one) I'm just glad my Stilo doesn't have the infamous 'red key' like my old Punto.
Hello friends, In the year 2007 when my family bought the fiat Stilo as a 2nd hand car, we didn't know that there was no key code card in the car. When I changed the battery(in 2013) in the controller it didn't work anymore. Do you know if I can somehow retrieve the lost key code from the car's
please help me i have some problems i would like sorting thanks in advance first off i replaced my clutch at 74000 ish mile its only on 75,6** and after about 5-10 mins of driving the clutch seems to get hot and slip like buggery ,the revs just rocket to the limiter then after about so many
If anyone has made the same mistake as me and put their key through a wash and spin cycle and your key is doing strange things like opening the windows as soon as you go near the car then if all else fails you may want to try replacing the switches inside the remote. First of all you need to
That's right, quite pointless if you ask me; if they make a key that hasn't got the buttons they could at least make it small. If you were willing to pay 60quid for the key, whoy don't you just get the Fiat alarm system that'll work with you fob activematt???? Seems the easiest and "cleanest"
Enter vehicle and close all doors. 2. Put seatbelt on (or clip it into the buckle) to shut the warning buzzer off. 3. Put key in ignition, turn to run position but don't start it. 4. Press and hold the unlock button on the working key fob and hold for 4 seconds, then also press the panic button. 5. Release both buttons and you should hear a lUbl.
