when you un zip harmony you get modules\bannerlord.harmony, and inside that are folders for bin, moduledata, & a file submodule. the folder bannerlord.harmony, with the contents bin, moduledata, & the file submodule needs to go into the m&B install module folder. Also Harmony needs to be on top of the mod load order.

Source for Freelancer 1.0 Alpha Freelancer adds the option to a mod to serve a Lord as a soldier, as you gain experience in your commanders army you will gain rank better gear, if your hungry the quartermaster will feed you. You will gain followers and have the option to Rebel against the commander, Desert your post or even take some personal le.

For me, this mod is something like the legacy of @mexxico. Since it was mexxico who made it in the past if i am not mistaken. Works fine, but only until a certain patch. Freelancer mod. Patch 1.6 after that not usable anymore. In steam click right on Bannerlord to go to properties and put in patch 1.6 to play. Eagle rising also needs to be a previous/older patch that works on 1.6. I did it like this and have it working fine. Got inspired by Surreal Belief too! :D

So the post is about a well appreciated "enlist in a lord's party as a soldier feature". There was a mod called Freelancer doing it for Warband and Bannerlord until 1.6.2 iirc, and now we have a mod called Serve as a soldier. My question is : did devs told players why this feature is not included in the base game ?

The mod is not made for 1.5.7 because that is still in beta so it can still change. The mod is currently for version 1.5.6 if you want to change your game version in steam you need to right click the game> go to properties> betas> then change it to 1.5.6. mrcat25.
